Degree UltaClear Black + White Dry Spray

"Degree® UltraClear Black + White™ is a dry spray antiperspirant specially designed to help keep your clothes looking new. Anti white marks on black clothes and anti yellow stains on white clothes. Scented with a modern floral fragrance of rose, lily, and soft fruitiness."

My Quick Thoughts:

I never tried a spray deodorant before but I was always curious. I have to say that this didn't really convince me to switch over from a stick deodorant. The only thing I felt it had going for it was that it didn't leave any marks (white) on my clothing.

It didn't keep me dry thought out the day. So sadly, I can't recommend this product. Does spray on nicely (cold), dries quickly, and has an ok scent when applying but if it's not going to keep me dry. It's going to be a pass.

I did receive this product for free through the Glam Sense program.
Thank you.

When I first heard about Lip Monthly's subscription service, I was so excited because I'm not a huge fan of makeup products.   Don't get me wrong I do enjoy my ipsy & TopBox subscription boxes, but I'm always the most excited to receive lip products.  Now upon hearing about Lip Monthly, I went on a search of what people had to say about the company/products.  Not going to lie.  A lot of people were saying negative things.  Whether it being poor customer service, being charged and not receiving their bags, being over charged, dried out products, it's a scam etc..  So I was very nervous on whether I should give this company a go.  But it was all lip products and it got the better of me and I signed up.

Did I have any problems? Well yes and no.  Lip Monthly apparently just launched a new website and they were still working on some glitches.  Their customize feature wasn't working (was fixed), you couldn't update or remove any of your account information.  I just want to give this a one month try, so was I was charged for the month, I tried to go in to my account and delete/unsubscribe everything.  It wouldn't let me.  Was kind of freaked out/angry at this because of all the negative reviews people had said prior, I was thinking "crap I got screwed".  I then tried to contact customer service to have them cancel my account asap.  Here is where I ran into issues.  I tried contacting them on all platforms I couldn't possible try tracking them down.  Email, Facebook, Instagram.  No response.  And I wasn't the only one.
At this point Im thinking "Yep, you got screwed".  I kept an eye on my banking info., and thankfully everything was ok.  About a week later, I finally heard back (through) email that my account had been cancelled and January's bag would be my 1st & only.

Would I recommend Lip Monthly?  I had no major issues with them.  Just the whole communications thing.  Products received were great.  Shipping arrived a little late but I'm in Canada, so that's too be expected.  I would love to sign up again but honestly, I still feel (at this point) it's a toss up because of their website issues.  Those issues may even be fixed at this point but the experience was just a little too sketchy for me.

John Frieda Core Restore

John Frieda Core Restore Luxurious Volume Shampoo:

After trying this shampoo, I found my fine/straight hair, did indeed have more volume than it did before and I could still feel that volume between washes.  My only issues, I had were I felt that this shampoo (along with the conditioner & volumizer) did weigh my hair down a lot.  It also left me with quite a few tangles.  Another thing was with my shampoos & conditioners, I want my hair to smell clean & fresh and have that smell last for at least awhile.  I might just be pickey, but I didn't get a lot of scent with this.  Yes, there is a bit of a citrus scent, when you smell it in the bottle but after washing your hair, I barely got anything.  If your looking to achieve a bit more volume, I would give this a go but to me it's a pass because of the few draw backs.

John Frieda Core Restore Luxurious Volume Conditioner:

My very first thought when I applied this conditioner was "oh, no" this feels like a gel.  Gels leave my hair feeling weighted down and in tangles and that exactly, how this conditioner left my hair.  I didn't like it at all unfortunately.  Also left my hair in tangles.  Not a major disaster or anything but enough for me to have another negative about this conditioner.  Overall with being used with the Luxurious Volume Core Restore Shampoo & Advanced Protein Volumizer, I did receive a bit more volume in my fine straight hair (and it last between washes) but nothing spectacular.  If you want to try and receive a bit more volume, then yes give this a go (don't expect major miracles) but your hair may feel very heavy after using this conditioner.

John Frieda Core Restore Luxurious Volume Volumizer:

When using this product with the Core Restore Luxurious Shampoo & Conditioner, I did notice that my hair had a bit more volume than before.  But here's the thing.  I tried just using the shampoo & conditioner and not this volumizer, and I got the same results. So with that being said, not 100% sold on needing this product to achieve the overall volumizing results.  I think it just added to the heavy weightless I felt while using these Core Restore products.  One positive is that the bottle has a pump so to me that's a plus.
