My Thoughts:

This sunscreen is thin in consistency and it's hydro gel leaves a nice and refreshing feel to the skin.  With SPF 50, makes this great.  Another huge bonus with this for me anyways is that when applied near/around the eye area it doesn't make my eyes water.  Any other sunscreen, if it comes close or if I rub my eye wrong, I'm done for.  My eyes will not stop watering.  With this sunscreen, I never had that issue.  So thank you for that.  I usually break out a bit when applying other sunscreens and I can't say for sure that this did or not, but I had a few breakouts but I don't think it was directly related to this particular product.  But maybe just something to keep in mind.  As for price, it's a bit up there for sunscreen and the amount you get but with SPF 50 and overall look feel, no tears situation (in my case).  I would consider purchasing this.

My Thoughts:

This gel like cream makes your face feel nice, refreshed and hydrated after applying.  Did that hydration last all day?  No.  Some people have complained about the smell but I found it quite pleasant (refreshing) and I'm usually pretty sensitive to smells.  Did I see any improvement/difference to my skin after using?  No, but I only tried a sample size amount.  If I was the type of person who splurged on "drugstore" products, I would buy this again.  For the amount you get, it again like the other products in this Hydra Boost" line, they are a bit up there in price.

My Thoughts:

"These wipes are amazing. Removes everything and leaves your skin feeling nice, refreshed, and fully cleaned.  Also non drying and non greasy.  Another plus is that the very last few in the pack "weren't" dried out.  The only down side, I find with these is that they are a bit higher in cost of the amount you get, compared to other brands.  But if you can find them in bulk, on sale, grab them!  I would definitely get these again."

Review:

I have always like TRESemme products. Actually my all time favourite holy grail shampoo & conditioner are from TRESemme, so I was excited to try this new "Compressed-Micro Mist" Smooth hairspray.  The packaging is super attractive (black, purple, gold), and sleek. The actual can kind of makes you think there's not a whole lot of product going on inside (155g) but again it's "Compressed-Micro".  

As for the product so far, the mister is a good quality.  Distributes the product evenly.  Claims to have "invisible hold", which I can agree with but I tend to believe this hairspray is more geared to the people who are looking for the Smoothing effect.  Not necessarily the Hold effect, because it disappointed me in that area a tiny bit.  

Also if you don't like strong smelling products.  Don't get this.  It's follows you around for hours.  It's not to chemically smelling, has a floral scent about it but like I said, it's strong and it lingers.

It's about average price at the local dept store, and depending on what you are looking to achieve, you may or may not want to give this a go.  Would I personally buy this again?  No but I'm looking for both Smoothing & Hold, and the scent just pushed me more towards the no end.  

If you were wanting to try something new in the smoothing department and you love TRESEmme, it's worth the shot.

Shampoo Review:  I've been that person who has seen this in the stores and said "that looks different, I wonder if it's any good?".  Thanks to Chick Advisor and Love, Beauty, & Planet, I was able to try it for free #gotitfree.  And I'm happy to say I will be buying from this line again.  It's a bit pricey for the amount you get but for the quality, ingredients (organic), and planet-friendly (100% recycled plastic), it's worth it.  When using with the conditioner it leaves your hair nice, light, and you feel refreshed after using.  The only two little downside of things is the scent reminded me a lot of my husbands shaving gel and/or body wash, and it didn't leave my hair as smooth as I would have liked.  Can't wait to try other products from this brand.  Give it a shot.  

Conditioner Review:  It's a bit pricey for the amount you get but I actually believe for once you get what you paid for. It leaves your hair feeling so soft, light, and refreshed after using. Not a whole lot of volume happening but that's most likely my own hairs fault (fine). The only two little minor things is the scent is border line "Men's shaving gel/body wash" scent and it doesn't leave my hair as smooth as I would like. Would that stop me from buying this again? No. But I will definitely be trying their other scents, in the future. Love that the company is using organic and 100% recycled plastic for their packaging. 

Body Wash

Beauty:  "Feeling over-worked?  So is your skin. Give it a detox with a purifying experience in the shower with our daily detox body wash.  Blended with Tea Tree Oil and Vetiver for an earthy refined scent.  It's like a deep-sigh for your skin in the shower."

Body Wash Review:  This body wash definitely feels like a "daily detox" for your skin.  Nice and refreshing after a long day.  Lathers really well and the scent isn't too overpowering (for Tea Tree, you would think it would be).  Love the fact the company is set on using organic and the bottle is 100% recycled plastic.  For a body wash it is a bit pricey but I can over look that for the good quality of the product & packaging (helping the earth).  The one thing I would say is the scent it's not over powering like I mentioned but it's border line a men's body wash/shaving gel scent.  Can't wait to try other scents.  I'd give it a shot.

*Vetiver = is most closely related to Sorghum (hmm ok ??..) but shares many morphological characteristics with other fragrant grasses, such as lemongrass, citronella, and palmarosa.

Breyers Delights Vanilla Bean

I just tried this and I have to say it was good.  Did I find it to be the best ice cream, I have ever tasted?  No.  But for the amount of calories you expect there to be little or no flavour.  This new Breyers delights Vanilla Bean, does well taste like vanilla ice cream.  So it does have that going for it.  I'm not much of a vanilla ice cream person, unless I have chocolate syrup covering the majority of it but I was still happy to have the chance to try this.  

Another thing it has going for it is 280 calories per PACK, which is 500mL.  I don't count calories but I'm thinking that's not so bad, right?  Also it contains 16g of protein per pack as well, if your into that.  And then finally it has a logo (so must be true) "Diary Farmers of Canada Quality Milk".  Whoop whoop.  Lets keep it in Canada.  Price wise for a 500mL, small tube it was around $5.  So price compared to other bigger containers, not so great but if you are looking for maybe a slightly healthy alternative then this might work for you. 

Would I get this again?  Probably not this particular flavour, but I wouldn't mind trying Cookies & Cream @ 360 calories, and/or Creamy Chocolate @ 280 calories.  

Now another little turn off and this isn't the fault of the actual product itself but I had to go to 4 stores to until I found this, so it may be a hunt if you do decided to give this a go.

got2b Head Turner Cotton Candy

I first want to start by saying I have light brown hair and I knew going into this I wasn't going to be looking like what was on the box.  Which was Head Turner Cotton Candy, but I did expect to see something.  

The box and the packaging makes it appealing for sure but the bottle itself is a spray and while using this the first time (I tried two different methods, more on that later), all over my head.  It gets everywhere if your trying to do this on yourself.  I would definitely get someone to help you.  Just trying to spray every part of your head and if you have smaller hands,  trying to spray the bottle can be a bit tricky.  

Side note:  The gloves that come with it.  Yes, I know they are suppose to be one size fist all but these were huge and made it even more difficult.  I ended up using a spare pair of gloves that I had tucked away. 

As for the smell.  I didn't mind it at "first".  It had a nice floral'ish scent which like I said, it didn't bother me at the time I was spraying, but if your sensitive to scents this lingers and it did give me a headache afterwards.  So heads up on that one.  

Next comes the instructions.  I'm sorry but they are all over the place.  On one side of the box it says you can use on dry or damp hair.  Ok.  Fine.  

So my first attempt was on damp hair.  On the instruction sheet that comes inside the box it tells you to first use on shampooed & conditioned hair??  If any one out there has ever dyed their hair, you will know that usually the rule is not to shampoo or condition your hair right before you dye it.  You're suppose to wait a day or two after washing, so this seemed stranger to me.  So what I did, I used very little conditioner, because my hair usually ends up in a tangled mess (which surprisingly this product didn't do)  towel dried my hair, combed it out, waited a bit then went spray crazy.  Combed it through my hair and blowed dried it...

My middle hair part was more pink than anything.  Again, keep in mind my hair is light brown/dark blond and I wasn't expected to come out looking like the box unless I bleached my hair.  

First attempt on Damp Hair.  Just don't bother (see pic). 

So for the second attempt, I waited a few days and decided to do this my way instead of "following the instructions" on dry two day old hair.  I say "my way" because it does say you can use on dry or damp hair on the outside of the box, but on the inside it doesn't say anything about using it on dry hair, just damp... And on the other side of the box it say's to "thoroughly rinse hair after application" ??? Huh?  This is a leave in spray...

So what I did, I divided my hair into two pig tails (I have long hair) and focused on the ends because I was going to saturate them, because I wanted to see something..  I then took two sheets of aluminum foil, basically as a shield for the spray, soaked one tail at a time, combed it out, sprayed some more, wrapped that pig tail up in the foil, (repeated other pig tail :p ), and I waited 30-40 mins., with the dye soaking my hair in the foil.  Then I dried my hair with a hair dryer.  The color took a bit more than it did with the "damp hair" attempt.  It's still faint but you can see some pink (see pic.).

Dry Hair:

So if you were able to follow all of what I just wrote.  Good job :)  

But to summarize:  Packing is nice (whoop whoop).  Spray bottle not a fan.  Instructions are all over the place and I ended up doing my own thing.  Color payoff is very minimum unless you want to attempt on bleached/very light blond hair.  

The instructions and the spray bottle alone is enough for me to say no to this.
