Vaseline Lip Therapy
Cocoa Butter Tin
"Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Tin is clinically proven to help heal dry lips. Formulated with rich rich cocoa butter and vanilla scent, this lip balm glides onto lips to leave them smooth and glossy. The Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter Tin also fits neatly into your purse, pocket, or bag so you can hydrate your lips where've you go."
Firstly, I like to say I was not a fan of the packaging. The little round tin. Not a fan in my books. I would of much rather had a stick, instead of having to place your finger in everytime to use the product. Also a little itty bitty negative (for me again) is I usually apply my face lotion first and then I'll apply my lip balm and with this twist tin lid. It's just overall frustrating trying to open the darn thing. The product itself, goes on nice and does make your lips feel nice and moisturized and it does last quite awhile (not all day or anything but a good while). I have tried the Rose/pink tin, the Original/blue tin, and I found this to be much better in helping heal my dry lips. It also smells great and leaves your lips with a nice glisten to them. If I had to rank the three tins that I have tried, I would definitely go with this Cocoa Butter tin first, then the Original, and lastly the Rose.

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa
Radiant Body Lotion
"Deeply moisturized, glowing skin is achievable with Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Lotion. If you've got dull, dry skin then our cocoa butter lotion is for you. Made with cocoa butter and a special blend of Vaseline Jelly and humectants, its rich & fragrant formula penetrates the skin's surface layers to moisturize and heal dry skin, helping to reveal its natural glow."
I was so happy to have received this because I was hitting the bottom the barrel with my last body lotion so it was perfect timing. And it was Cocoa Butter, which I love. The formula is good, it does state that it's suppose to be a non-greasy lotion but I found it to be a little greasy, nothing major it does seep into your skin quickly. But if your like me and you always seem to find ourself trying to open something right after you applied lotion, your going to be slipping & sliding :) I also found that this lotion does leave a nice and natural glow to the skin (like it suggests). I'm quite pale and its not like bronzey spray tan gone wrong type of deal. It's quite subtle. Now back to how I was excited that this was Cocoa Butter. I usually love the smell of Cocoa Butter lotions and yes I do like this smell but too much is too much. What I mean by that is, if I'm just applying to my hands, great. No big deal. But I found if I'm applying to my whole body, its a bit overpowering (too me). Is this going to stop me from using it? No. But just putting it out there. Would I buy this exact product again? No (because of the smell). I would rather go with a different Vaseline body lotion instead.
Retail: $6.77 (Local Dept. Store)
Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil
"Made with 100% pure grapeseed oil, our new Simple Hydrating Cleansing oil is gentle and effective way to remove make-up and deeply cleanse without stripping or irritating the skin, keeping the natural oils in your skin balanced. Light in texture and infused with skin-loving ingredients that leave all skin types cleansed, instantly hydrated and soft."
I really, really wanted to like this product. I think I really want to like the whole cleansing oil fad in general. Seems so quick, easy. Simple. But this and cleansing oils in general just don't work for me. Either I don't find them to do a good enough job or they break me out. With this Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil, it broke me out and I honestly didn't find it to be that effective. Now, was I using enough of the product? Maybe not. But on the back of the bottle it said to place 2 - 3 drops into your hands and then work it onto our face. Well the problem with that is, as soon as I placed those drops into my hands, my hands soaked that oil up and then there was hardly any to message onto my face to cleanse. So this is where I seemed to use quite a bit more and possibly that is what caused my skin to freak out. But with it being 100% pure grapeseed oil, no harsh chemicals, no alcohol/parabens, & hypoallergenic, you would think it would work out. Not saying this wouldn't work for other people, just in my experience, I found it to be, one drying, smell is tolerable (it's not horrible smells like... well oil), and found a lot of product needed to be used. So for me this is a pass. I just find another cleansers out there work better for me, and truth are cheaper in price.
