"EverStrong Thickening system with rosemary leaf gently cleanses and purifies fragile, thin hair removing build-up and excess oils to promote thicker-looking, stronger hair. The system injects strength into hair from the first wash. How to use: Apply to wet hair and massage gently into a thick lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with EverStrong Thickening conditioner"
Shampoo Thoughts:
I'll be honest, I was a little worried that this "Thickening" shampoo would turn out like all the rest and leave my hair feeling so heavy, stiff, & looking dull. I have very long, fine, thin hair and a lot of breakage. I didn't find that this shampoo did a whole lot in the breakage department but I did notice my hair having a bit more volume/thickness after using. Yes, even after the first wash. Packaging is simple, convenient. Product itself is vegan, dye-free, paraben-free, & no gluten. A little does go a long way, even if you have long hair. So be careful of that. Lathers up nicely. The shampoo smells like a nice clean herb smell. Sorry I can't put my finger on what to compare it to.
Overall, I would say this shampoo is good. Like I said, I did find it to help thicken & add volume to my hair, but that was really about it. But downside I did also feel that along with using the conditioner & the strength potion, it left my hair looking very dull. Nothing spectacular. For your money, is it worth it? For the amount you get and the results, my opinion is no. Just because I'm the type of person aways looking for "more bang, for your buck" and there are other options out there that suit my needs better and will last me a lot longer. But if you do have fine, thin hair and your looking for a bit more volume, and you have been searching for something, by all means give this a try.
"EverStrong Thickening system with rosemary leaf deeply conditions and fortifies fragile, thin hair to promote thicker-looking stronger hair. The system injects strength into hair from the first wash. How to use: After using EverStrong Thickening shampoo, apply to wet hair and massage gently. Leave on for 1–2 minutes. Rinse."
Conditioner Thoughts:
I found that this conditioner is good. It does wonders with my tangles but the one draw back I kind of have, is it "almost" has a over powering minty clean toothpaste smell. Haha. I'm really sorry, that's the best way I can describe it. It's not by any means bad, but it does hit you when you first open the cap. With using the shampoo, conditioner, and the 10x1 strength potion, I didn't feel it did anything amazing. I did find using the system gave me a bit added thickness/volume to my fine, thin hair but it also left my hair looking on the dull side. For a conditioner that's suppose to fortify thin hair, and help with breakage, I never really experienced that.
As for the price that the conditioner (shampoo as well), is set at and what I'm looking for in a shampoo & conditioner, there are better options out there for me personally. If your on the hunt for a hair care system that adds thickness then by all means give this a go, along with the shampoo, but I don't necessarily thing you need to buy the 10x1 strength, unless you really, really want to. Doesn't hurt that the L'Oreal Paris Ever Strong line is vegan, dye-free, paragon-free, and no gluten.
"Apply a few drops of lotion on damp hair lengths and tips, distributing evenly prior to styling. Complete your routine with the EverStrong Shampoo and Conditioner."
10 in 1 Strength Potion Thoughts:
So the this 10x1 Strength Potion is a Coriander & Coconut Oil, for your hair. Firstly, it smells pretty good. Clean & fresh. Though it's a bit on the herb smelling side of things. I don't get any coconut. Also the packaging/bottle is great. It has a dropper which makes it easy to use. The bottle says to use a few drops on damp hair. I have long hair, so I actually end up using maybe half a dropper or more (tsp maybe), and it doesn't weigh my hair down... So this repair treatment is for fragile hair. My hair is fine, thin, and breaks like a beep :) This claims to reinforce, invigorates, strengthen, protect lengths, fortify strands, help breakage, adds shine, add softness, nourishes, and soothes the scalp. Does it do all of that? And also, is it just me or some of those "claims" are really the same thing?
When using this oil, along with the Ever Strong shampoo & conditioner, I didn't really notice a difference in my breakage, so I don't think it's holding up to its end of the bargain there. As for the smell, it wakes ya up so I guess yes, it's invigorating. It's an oil, so it's most likely good for your hair regardless. My hair was fairly soft when using this oil but along with the shampoo & conditioner, it overall left my hair looking dull. No shine :( So for that reason I would pass personally. I couldn't find a price online for this but if it's reasonable price, you do get a good amount of product and like I said it's an oil, so your hair & you deserve a treat. Just keep in mind it didn't do anything "wow" for me, but it may for you.
