Review for Herbal Essences Naked Volume Shampoo, Volume Conditioner, & Volume Soufflé.
Upon receiving the three products, I found that the packaging/bottling of the products was visibly appealing. I like the fact that the shampoo bottle was clear and you could actually see the amount of product left inside. A little detail but it's a plus in my books. The fragrance of the 3 products (White grapefruit & Mint Extracts), really stands out while doing a test smell beforehand. Also it really comes thru while your actually washing your hair. Me myself, I have long hair and after using all three products the smell wasn't that noticeable after drying my hair. At times while washing my hair with these products I almost found the smell almost too much to handle. It is possible that it's just me, since I'm not a huge fan of the smell of mint. I also had two of my co-workers try the shampoo & conditioner, and they both liked how it smelled and they both said the products were ok. Not great, not good. Just ok. As for me, after trying all three products I didn't see much of a difference in volume with my hair. I had a few more tangles, while combing out my towel dried hair and I wasn't really a fan of how it left my hair feeling afterwards. I mean, there wasn't anything wrong, it just didn't feel nice and light compared to my regular shampoo & conditioner. In closing I would like to say that if I was standing in the aisle picking up a voluminzing shampoo, conditioner, and soufflé, I would have to give the Herbal Essences Naked a pass. Ratings: 1 Poor - 5 Great Packaging = 5 Fragrance = 4 Price Point = 4 (Priced locally at a box store & compared to other similar products) Effectiveness = 2 Thank you.P.S.
